News from the front line - from DGCA website as of 22nd feburary'2010
New regulation will require candidates to show expert level knowledge of the english language or you may have to endure frequent tests to prove your proficiency... i dont mind giving an english language test (after all we indians speak better english than the british).  I believe most pilots are competent, its the added complication of an extra examination (read burning hoops to jump through) that has some would-be candidates (myself included) worried.

Objective

Hi, if u r reading this, there is a good chance that u r or want to be associated with aviation. welcome; the objective of this blog is primarily to provide a platform to put up notes and tutorials as to how to go about clearing your DGCA papers. i will try to keep updating this blog to the best of my abilities, but i hope this blog can work on (pardon the pun) auto-pilot mode... cheers and feel free to correct amend and criticize wherever necessary... keep it friendly guys/gals... and have fun...
